'Such Is Life' is messagemusic that focuses on the power of hope in trying times and delivers a much needed dose of musical positivity. Featuring vocals from members of London based collective Steam Down, including Afronaut Zu and Carli Adams, the track is available to download from October 31st.

The testament to the icons' unwavering faith in rastafari was recorded between the Total Refreshment Centre in London, England and Small World Studios in Kingston, Jamaica late last year, but feels like a timely reminder there is light, even in the darkest of times.

"What the world needs now is more positivity, more light, more hope. We are in dark times" says Big Youth. "I'm honored to be recognised for my work, but it is more important my word can be heard"


The video, shot in Jamaica, features the singer and friends, including the great Eroll Dunkley and musical collaborator Keith Mindlink, enjoying life's simple pleasures.

'Such Is Life' is the first track to be taken from the singers forthcoming 'Time For Unity' E.P, to be released later this year on London based Jancro Records. Produced by Sergio Lopez of Lana Sounds, the 4-track 12" vinyl is available to pre-order from jancro.bandcamp.com
